6 Week program September- end October
Advanced Athletes:
players trying out for 14 and up and have one season of strength and conditioning experience
Youth Athletes:
players trying out for 13 and under, or players with no strength and conditioning experience
Contact Katie to move up to advanced if appropriate.
Located upstairs in the KIVA Sports weight room. All classes are run by Katie Adams-Marshall, ACSM CPT and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of KIVA volleyball. Pre-tryout training focuses on athletes’ foundational strength to decrease injury risk, build power, and develop correct mechanics that transfer to the court. Specifically for tryouts, classes are focused on power output to increase vertical and agility training to increase reaction time.
